Continuing Education Workshop and Health Sciences Libraries of Minnesota Annual Meeting
We are pleased to announce that HSLM will offer a continuing education workshop at Allina Hospitals & Clinics Library on Friday, June 15, 2012.
Workshop: Measuring Your Impact: Using Evaluation for Library Advocacy
Instructors: Ruth Holst, Associate Direct, NN/LM Greater Midwest Region
Jacqueline Leskovec, Outreach and Evaluation Coordinator, GMR
*Library users and stakeholders will recognize and value the importance of their library’s services and of the librarian to the organization. The outcome for the class is that librarians will be able to show the value of their library’s services. Participants will become familiar with an evaluation process and will use and take away methods and tools for assessment, evaluation planning, creating logic models, data collection, data analysis and reporting.*
We offer this event free of charge to current HSLM members. Non-HSLM members may attend the workshop for $30.00. To join HSLM, please fill out the form found [here](http://blog.lib.umn.edu/lmcguire/hslm/2009HSLMMembershipForm-1.doc) (or copy and paste this link into your browser: http://blog.lib.umn.edu/lmcguire/hslm/2009HSLMMembershipForm-1.doc) and mail it to the HSLM treasurer, per the instructions provided.
