The MN Chapter of the Special Libraries Association invites you to attend:
Continuing Education Event – Creating Influence: How To Get What You Want
This course is designed to help librarians learn to communicate in a powerful and effective way with the corporate and organizational decision-makers in their institutions. You’ll learn how to predict and prepare for organizational challenges and opportunities and develop your value proposition and an individual value statement – your elevator speech. This class will be fun, practical, and hands-on. Lisa and Frank have taught this course at both regional MLA (Medical Library Association) chapter meetings and at the national meeting with good reviews from participants. They look forward to bringing the course to SLA in MN!
Lisa K. Traditi, MLS, AHIP, an academic health sciences librarian and former hospital librarian with 25 years experience in practice. Frank Traditi, an executive leadership and management coach with his own private practice and more than 20 years in the corporate world.
