From the GMR: Announcing DOCLINE 4.0

NLM announces the upcoming release of DOCLINE 4.0 on June 23, 2009. DOCLINE 4.0 introduces new screen designs to Serial Holdings, improved display, navigation, and editing of holdings, and the removal of the results limits in searching serial holdings. The Release Notes include links to screenshots of the upcoming interface changes. The DOCLINE 4.0 Release Notes can be viewed at:
NLM is providing a test database for DOCLINE users to preview the DOCLINE 4.0 software before it is released. The data in this database was copied from production DOCLINE as of June 11, 2009. This database is for previewing DOCLINE 4.0 only. You are encouraged to update, add, delete your serial holdings records to try out the new software, however this is a TEST database and your changes will NOT be reflected in your actual holdings in DOCLINE. Please note that the online help and FAQs have not been updated in the Preview version. Revised help will be available when DOCLINE 4.0 goes live.
You can access the PREVIEW version of DOCLINE 4.0 between now and June 19, 2009 by going to:
Login with your DOCLINE user ID and enter the password “DOCLINE4”.
Please contact your Regional Medical Library with any questions about the functionality of DOCLINE 4.0. If you encounter a problem while testing, please report this to NLM using the Contact Us form in DOCLINE.
DOCLINE 4.0 is currently scheduled to be released on the morning of June 23, 2009. We anticipate DOCLINE and Loansome Doc will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour while we release the latest versions of DOCLINE and Loansome Doc.
